Dillon came out and gave me a no BS evaluation of my sloped property and how best to take advantage of it to make room for a large shop. As we progressed, he and his team provided insight into possible options and I ended up expanding the scope of work. The work itself was executed on time and on budget, with clear communication throughout. The final product is even better than I had anticipated. I’ll definitely be reaching out to In Depth Excavation for all future work.Posted on Bob LazearTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend the work done by Dillon and his team based on their demolition of my old cement driveway and installation of a new asphalt one. From his first meeting with me to view and submit his bid, to the project finish, he proved to be professional, efficient, timely, knowledgeable and committed to providing a quality product for a reasonable price. Though experienced in huge roadwork projects, he could skillfully demolish my narrow residential driveway with no damage to my yard or my neighbor's property. This business deserves your consideration for your next project. AnniePosted on Karl StraumeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend In Depth Excavation to anyone looking for top-tier results!Posted on Dana GroulxTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We needed to get our extremely sloped yard, filled and leveled. Dillon was the second quote we received. He was very knowledgeable, measured accurately for the amount of fill needed and gave us a good quote. The work was done in time and for the quoted dollar amount. They also installed jute erosion control on the back and sides of our property. Site was clean and the work done was excellent. We definitely recommend.Posted on Nonnie AdrianTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dillion and his crew were exceptional. They replaced my footing drains and then to help direct water away they tied in my down spouts. They took time to answer any questions I had and they were polite. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Thank you Dillion and Crew!
Yes. The Snohomish County Health District requires a permit and a final inspection to officially “retire” the system. This ensures your property’s “As-Built” records are updated, which is vital for selling your home or avoiding future liability. We handle the entire permit application for you.
The physical excavation and decommissioning usually take 1 to 2 days. However, the permit approval and final inspection timing depend on the County’s schedule. If you are in a real estate crunch, let us know and we specialize in fast-tracking these projects.
The tank must be empty and certified as pumped per Washington State (WAC) code before it can be decommissioned. As part of our Turnkey Service, we coordinate with a certified pumper to ensure this happens right before we begin excavation.
We pride ourselves on “Precision Excavation.” We use right-sized machines to minimize the impact on your landscape. Once the tank is filled and compacted, we provide professional grading so your yard is level, clean, and ready for grass seed.
Yes. We are full-service excavation experts. We can decommission your old septic tank and install the new sewer line, trenching from your home to the city connection in one seamless project.
Costs vary depending on the size of the tank, its depth, and property access. We provide free, transparent estimates with no hidden fees so you know exactly what to expect before we move a single shovelful of dirt.
In December 2017, Dillon was presented with the Arden Blackledge “Excellence in Leadership” award which is the highest annual honor given at AWWD.
He was employed by various contractors working on storm, water, sewer mains, demo, plus grading and restoring for two years. Dillon proudly serves Western Washington and is on course for growth to establish In-Depth Excavation as a competitor in diverse markets.
